Feather Installation and excerpt

(click for larger photo)

Feather installation/sculpture 7ft 5in long. My instructor yesterday called this beautiful. I love it, I just wish I never had to take it down. I want to do something with it, I just have no idea what to do. Maybe in my apartment sometime later in life?

Excerpt from my paper:
Florescent stale light illuminating. No shadows. Enlarged hills and crevices of pale brown with yellow and red tints, becoming more and more red. Holes and inflammation. Skewed perspectives on appearance. White and black specs in masses, overwhelming. Un-controlling. Creating routines. Time consumption. A lot of time consumption. drip. drip. drip. drip... Cramp. Fuck. Oh well,

Red tinted routine. Repetitive. Repetitive. Reflections creating vast differences from reality, perceived as actual. Inflammation on top of yesterday’s inflammation. Old scars, reminders of my habits. Still overwhelming and always uncontrolled. Explorations of already chartered territory, nothing changes.
